Sixteenth District Training
The Sixteenth District provides training once a year (typically towards the end of the school year) to PTA members who would like to learn more on how to more effectively run their groups, stay apprised of recent changes in laws that affect non-profit 501(c) organizations, as well as best practices in PTA events.
Training subjects change year to year based on the needs of the district but typically the types of training you can find are duties for new Presidents, Treasurers, Bylaws, Historian, Secretary, Fundraising, Membership and more.
Training is also a great opportunity to meet with PTA members from other schools as well as at the district and state levels.
